The Willows Honkers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Live Oak, posting a 64-32 victory at home. The win was a breath of fresh air for Willows as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Kyleigh Goppert was nothing short of spectacular: she scored 29 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Connie Huttman, who scored eight points.
Willows' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-17. As for Live Oak, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-19.
Willows does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Live Oak, they will head out on the road to take on Pierce at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
