Iowa City lost to Cedar Falls back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Little Hawks' defense stepped up to hand the Tigers a 4-0 shutout. Iowa City might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Iowa City and bumps their season record up to 13-1-3. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Cedar Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4-1.

Iowa City has already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Linn-Mar on the 6th. Hopefully Cedar Falls paid attention to the Little Hawks' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Little Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
