The James Lick Comets lost against the Mt. Pleasant Cardinals back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. James Lick was outmatched by Mt. Pleasant on the road and fell 61-28. James Lick has struggled against Mt. Pleasant recently, as their contest on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

James Lick dropped their record down to 3-21 with that defeat, which was their 31st straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.1 points per game. As for Mt. Pleasant, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-11.
James Lick does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will head out on the road to challenge Live Oak at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Live Oak focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Thursday.
