Millikan's run defense was locked in: Compton could only muster -1.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Karim Almulhim for the heroic effort on defense: he. Millikan's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 2.3.
Meanwhile, Aliso Niguel got the win against Fountain Valley on Thursday by a conclusive 31-10. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Barons are ranked 489th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Vestermark threw for 273 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per attempt while Malloy picked up 156 receiving yards and one score. Malloy's longest reception was for an incredible 71 yards.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Aliso Niguel's defense and their three sacks. Leading the way was Corey Lewis with two. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with ten.
The victory got Millikan back to even at 5-5. As for Aliso Niguel, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
Everything went Millikan's way against Aliso Niguel when the teams last played back in September of 2015, as Millikan made off with a 41-20 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Wolverines' Andre Cotton, who rushed for 131 yards and one TD on only 15 carries, and also picked up 63 receiving yards.
