Edmund Burke Academy proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 11) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trinity Christian Crusaders, sneaking past 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won five in a row.

Edmund Burke Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Trinity Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-6.

Looking ahead, Edmund Burke Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Briarwood Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans are facing the Buccaneers at the right time seeing as the Buccaneers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Trinity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
