The Brashear Bulls lost against the Westinghouse Bulldogs back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Brashear fell to Westinghouse 30-26. Brashear has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Brashear's loss came despite strong showings from Ariana Sherrill and Sa'Naja Hendley. Sherrill scored 11 points along with six steals, while Hendley scored four points along with ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Hendley pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Brashear's defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 4-6. As for Westinghouse, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brashear will take on Nazareth Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westinghouse, they will be playing at home against Taylor Allderdice at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
