The Great Mills Hornets won the last time they faced the Chopticon Braves, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Great Mills enjoyed a cozy 48-34 win over Chopticon. The win made it back-to-back wins for Great Mills.
Great Mills was led to victory by A'naija Bush and Telisa Adams. Bush scored 11 points along with six rebounds, while Adams scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Adams is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Ja'lise Joyner, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Great Mills now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Chopticon, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Great Mills will be home for the holidays to greet Lackey at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Chopticon, they will head out on the road to face off against Calvert at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
