The Great Mills Hornets topped the host Chopticon Braves basketball team by a final score of 48-34 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 15. Great Mills will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 37-31 non-league loss to Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD).

The Braves (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record.
