Lyndon has gone a perfect 4-0 against Yates Center recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tigers will head out to challenge the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lyndon has four straight wins, Yates Center has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Lyndon's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They breezed past Flinthills to the tune of 50-0. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly 50 points.

Lyndon relied on the efforts of Lucas Griffin, who rushed for 86 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries, and James Marcotte, who gained 154 total yards and two touchdowns. Marcotte is also crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 105 every time he's taken the field this season.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lyndon was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 231 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 203 rushing yards in five consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Friday. Yates Center fell 28-22 to Northern Heights.
Lyndon will need to focus on slowing down Marcus Cummings, one of several Yates Center players who made an impact when they last played. He rushed for 146 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Cummings didn't just play on offense: he also made seven total tackles and defended one pass. Another rusher making a difference was Benjamin Cook, who rushed for 120 yards and one score on only seven carries.
Lyndon's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Yates Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's matchup: Lyndon has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 400.8 total yards per game. It's a different story for Yates Center, though, as they've been averaging only 240.5 total yards. Will Lyndon be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Wildcats flip the script?
Everything came up roses for Lyndon against Yates Center in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 45-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
