At the plate, Adejare Williams was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Jace Bystrowski was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
As for Whitney, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games.
On Whitney's side, Josh Mendoza was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs. Charles Bacchus also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
