The Rialto Knights came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Silverado 70-46. Considering Rialto has won three matches by more than 21 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Rialto got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carrington Davis out in front who dropped a triple-double on 22 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least 25% of Rialto's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Destiny Rabino, who scored 26 points.
Silverado's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Elizabeth Udeze, who scored 13 points. The game was Udeze's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Bella Rincon, who scored 12 points.
Rialto's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Silverado, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.
Rialto will head out on the road to face off against Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Silverado, they will be playing at home against Oak Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
