Kevin Freeman was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Brayden Hull, who picked up 51 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Mineral Springs at home against Mount Ida on Friday as the squad secured a 52-13 win.
Their wins bumped Poyen to 5-4 and Mineral Springs to 8-0.
