Prince George is a perfect 10-0 against Petersburg since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Royals will look to defend their home field against the Crimson Wave at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Prince George's favor as the team sits on ten straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Petersburg has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
On Friday, Prince George got the win against L.C. Bird by a conclusive 18-1. Considering the Royals have won eight matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaylee Moody made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (four). She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
In other batting news, Kasey Sulc was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Kaitlyn Hacker was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.
Prince George always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .559 or higher in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Petersburg came into Wednesday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Meadowbrook a 1-0 shutout on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Crimson Wave have posted since April 9th.
Prince George has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Petersburg, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.
Everything went Prince George's way against Petersburg in their previous meeting back in April, as Prince George made off with a 19-0 win. Will the Royals repeat their success, or do the Crimson Wave have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
