Beaumont United's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Clarence Payia, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds. Kayde Dotson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds.
Beaumont United's win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-1. As for Summer Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.
