Oologah extended their winning streak to six on Monday, bumping them up to 18-5. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Jay Bulldogs. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

As for Jay, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 12, 2019, but that streak is no more.

For Jay's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josie Youngblood, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that Youngblood has hit this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oologah will venture away from home to square off against Adair at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jay, they will head out to take on Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
