After a string of seven wins, Knoch's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 44-43 to the Greater Johnstown Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Trojans are ranked sixth).

Knoch's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Greater Johnstown, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Knoch and Baldwin will face off on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Greater Johnstown, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Gateway at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
