Jared Glenn made a splash no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Dacula is undefeated when Glenn posts two or more runs, but 7-10 otherwise.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Reiston Durham, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrison Cantrell, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Dacula hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Discovery struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Central Gwinnett was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They lost 11-1 to Collins Hill. The Black Knights haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
Dacula pushed their record up to 12-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Central Gwinnett, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.
Central Gwinnett's pitching crew better be locked in on Monday. Dacula hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game.
