Cj Johnson Delivers Electric Effort Vs Macon-East Montgomery Academy
Starting off the list is Springwood's Cj Johnson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Johnson rushed for 423 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 17.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 36 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 90-yard run.
Johnson is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against North River Christian on Friday. When Johnson last faced the Chargers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 156 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries.

Sam Wallace's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Sam Wallace posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He wasn't messing around, rushing for 230 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per carry, and also throwing for 125 yards and a touchdown. The match was his third straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.
With the defeat, Macon-East Montgomery Academy broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-1. Wallace and Macon-East Montgomery Academy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cornerstone Christian at 7:00 p.m.

Caleb Cole Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Southern Prep Academy got the W thanks in part to Caleb Cole playing the best football he has all season. Cole picked up 179 receiving yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August. His receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100 receiving yards dating back to last season.
Meadowview Christian's probably not too fond of Cole given he always seems to get the better of them. When Cole last faced the Trojans back in November of 2023, he picked up 263 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Zeke Adams and Co. Win Tenth in a Row
Cornerstone Christian picked up their tenth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Zeke Adams. Adams was dynamite, rushing for 122 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 137 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 110 rushing yards.
Cornerstone Christian pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face Macon-East Montgomery Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Markevean Johnson Goes Supernova in Evangel Christian Academy Loss
Rounding off our Top Five is Markevean Johnson of Evangel Christian Academy. Johnson made ten total tackles and defended two passes.
This is the second loss in a row for Evangel Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-4. Johnson and Evangel Christian Academy will stay at home for another week and welcome Lakeside School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
