Highland and Citrus Hill squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Highland had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 6-5. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Cole Studt was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Josiah Rodriguez was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 18-10-1. As for Citrus Hill, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-7.

Highland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Citrus Hill, they will head out on the road to square off against Northwood at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hawks 2.7, the Timberwolves 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
