The Pittsburg Pirates posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Deer Valley 58-27 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Pittsburg who now have three in a row.
Pittsburg got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ali Tuotolo out in front who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Yariah Asidanya, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and five blocks.
Pittsburg has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season. As for Deer Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pittsburg will take on Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Freedom is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Deer Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Heritage focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday.
