Everything went Coalinga's way against Lindsay as Coalinga made off with a 54-32 victory. The Horned Toads have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Coalinga got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaelyn Bourdeau out in front who went 8 of 19 on her way to 18 points in addition to six boards and four steals. Bourdeau's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Davis, who posted eight points along with 12 rebounds and six assists.
Coalinga was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Golden West's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a blow against Tulare Western, falling 53-21.
Aniyah Venegas was Golden West's leading scorer, having posted 15 points. Venegas also led the team in rebounds with nine.
Coalinga's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.2 points per game. As for Golden West, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Coalinga has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 41 boards per game. However, it's not like Golden West struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Coalinga ended up a good deal behind Golden West in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, losing 37-18. Can Coalinga avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
