The Ventura Cougars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Pacifica at home to the tune of 83-7. Winning may never get old, but Ventura sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Skyler Knight continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kailee Staniland, who scored 17 points along with six assists and four steals.
Ventura's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.09 points. As for Pacifica, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ventura will be home for the holidays to greet San Marcos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Marcos will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 216th, while Ventura is ranked 44th). Pacifica will be home for the holidays to greet Oxnard at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
