The Amador Buffaloes entered their tilt with the Calaveras Red Hawks with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Amador had just enough and edged the Red Hawks out 41-39. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Amador also won the last time the pair played on January 12th.
Despite the loss, Calaveras had strong showings from Ginger Scheidt, who scored nine points along with five steals, and Izzy Tapia, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Amador has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Calaveras, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6.
Amador will head out on the road to face off against the Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Summerville: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while the Buffaloes have snatched up four consecutive wins on the road. Calaveras will take on the Mustangs at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Argonaut is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
