After four games on the road, Reading is heading back home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Susquehanna Township HANNA on Wednesday. Reading will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 441st, while Susquehanna Township is ranked 21st).
Last Friday, Reading suffered a tough 55-32 loss at the hands of Lebanon.
Meanwhile, Susquehanna Township put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 60-41 win over Boiling Springs.
It was another big night for Schuyler Coles, who scored 19 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Susquehanna Township's points. Another player making a difference was Amber Williams, who scored 11 points.
Reading's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Susquehanna Township, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.
Reading came up short against Susquehanna Township in their previous meeting back in December of 2018, falling 50-46. Can Reading avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
