The Davis Blue Devils fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They put the hurt on Oakdale with a sharp 47-22 victory on Saturday.
Davis got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jiana Trotman out in front who scored eight points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Macdonald, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Davis' win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Oakdale, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Davis is on the road again on Friday and play against Wood at 7:00 p.m. on December 22nd. As for Oakdale, they will square off against Lodi at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
