Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lithonia). Everything went their way against the Therrell Panthers on Thursday as they made off with a 6-3 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Lithonia as it put an end to their 14-game losing streak.
Their offense was hitting Therrell from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Zachary McCalla led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.
The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-14. As for Therrell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
As of now, neither Lithonia nor Therrell have any future games scheduled.
