Waukomis had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Dover Longhorns as they made off with a 9-1 victory. Considering the Chiefs have won 12 matches by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Waukomis' win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Dover, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Waukomis will head out on the road to challenge Okarche at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Dover, they will head out to take on Carney at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
