North Tahoe has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Oasis Academy Bighorns at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in their respective states (North Tahoe is ranked 86th in California, while the Bighorns are ranked 92nd in Nevada).
On Saturday, everything went North Tahoe's way against the Bighorns as the Lakers made off with a 65-45 victory.
North Tahoe relied on the efforts of Gavin Green, who scored 14 points, and Cormac Springsteel, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. Rowin Springsteel was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
North Tahoe has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season. As for Oasis Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.
North Tahoe took their victory against the Bighorns when the teams last played on Saturday by a conclusive 65-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Tahoe since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
