Colony has been on the road for eight straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Ontario Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Colony didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Whittier, but they still walked away with a 51-46 win.
Meanwhile, Ontario came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against Ganesha as Ontario made off with a 52-30 win. Ontario might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four games by 22 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Hailey McDow, who scored 19 points along with 7 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Ontario's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Poulava, who scored 8 points along with 8 rebounds.
The victory got Colony back to even at 5-5. As for Ontario, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Colony was able to grind out a solid win over Ontario in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, winning 37-27. Does Colony have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ontario turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
