Hamilton hasn't had much luck against Trinity recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Braves will square off against the Wolves at 7:00 p.m.
On Friday, Hamilton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 32-28 to Quincy.
Despite the defeat, Hamilton had strong showings from Esme Castillo, who posted 12 points, and Allison Odom, who earned eight points.
Meanwhile, Trinity beat Etna 51-42 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.
Hamilton better keep an eye on Kloe Kist. She was instrumental in Trinity's win, going 6-for-14 to rack up 21 points along with seven steals and five boards. They are 7-1 when Kist posts three or more steals, but 8-12 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Cox, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Trinity smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.
Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Trinity, their record is now 15-13.
Keep an eye on the arc in Tuesday's matchup: Hamilton has been dynamite from deep this season, having made 34.1% of their three-pointers per game. It's a different story for Trinity, though, as they've only made 23.4% of their threes this season. Given Hamilton's sizable advantage in that area, the Wolves will need to find a way to close that gap.
Hamilton took a serious blow against Trinity in their previous meeting back in January of 2025, falling 58-25. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Braves were down 39-17.
