California City entered their tilt with Mammoth on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They never let the Huskies get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. The Ravens might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by nine runs or more this season.

Aaroon Moreno and Kole Hightower were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Moreno didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Hightower tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. At the plate, Moreno went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI, while Hightower went 2-for-3 with five stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Hightower has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Joshua Baiza was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kevin Hightower, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs.

California City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .690. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

California City pushed their record up to 17-9-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Mammoth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
