MaxPreps.com Staff Report
Rosters are set for the 2008 McDonald’s All-American High School Basketball Games, with 48 of the nation’s top senior boys and girls set to square off March 26 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wis.
The girls’ game will tip at 7 p.m. (EST) and will be carried live on ESPNU with the boys to follow at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Tyreke Evans (American Christian, Pa.), Brandon Jennings (Oak Hill Academy, Va.), Greg Monroe (Helen Cox, La.) and Samardo Samuels (St. Benedict’s Prep, N.J.) are among the stars filling out the boys’ East and West rosters.
The player that could draw the most attention in Milwaukee isn’t playing in the boys’ game, however. Connecticut-bound Elena Delle Donne of Ursuline Academy in Delaware is considered one of the top high school prospects in recent years and has drawn comparisons to Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki.
