Leading Long Beach Poly to victory were Jordyn Washington and Joy Anderson. Washington scored 15 points along with two steals, while Anderson scored ten points along with six steals and five rebounds. Anderson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Andrea Perkins, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Long Beach Poly's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 74.33 points. As for Compton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-23.
