Don Lugo has been on the road for three straight, but  on Thursday they'll finally head home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Baldwin Park Braves at 4:45  p.m.  on January 25th. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
 Don Lugo suffered their biggest  loss since December 14, 2023 on Wednesday. They took a serious blow against Chino, falling  62-16. Don Lugo has not had much luck with Chino recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
  Makena Encarnacion put forth a good effort for the losing side as  she  scored five points.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Don Lugo  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only four  assists. They  were crushed by their opponents in that department as Chino  racked up 18  assists.
 Meanwhile, Baldwin Park's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Wednesday after their 18th straight loss. They were dealt a  47-15 defeat at the hands of Chaffey. While losing is never fun, Baldwin Park can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 1283rd, while Chaffey is ranked 432nd).
 Don Lugo has  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost ten of their last 11 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Baldwin Park, their loss was  their 14th straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 2-20.
 Everything came up roses for Don Lugo against Baldwin Park in their previous matchup  on January 9th as the  squad secured a  71-19 victory. Does  Don Lugo have another victory up their sleeve, or will Baldwin Park turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
