Wiseburn- Da Vinci hasn't had much luck against South recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Spartans at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Wiseburn- Da Vinci 4.1, South 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Wiseburn- Da Vinci took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Peninsula by a score of 8-5.

Nathan Buendia tossed a big game, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February of 2025.
At the plate, David Holliday and Thomas Carpenter did most of the damage at the plate: Holliday went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Carpenter got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. What's more, Carpenter posted two hits, the most he's had since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Horton, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, South put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with an 8-4 win over Culver City.
South gave Nick Acosta the start and clearly made the right call: he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Acosta has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, South let Issac Orozco and Leland Ingraham run wild. Orozco went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Ingraham went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Owen Rhodes, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Wiseburn- Da Vinci's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-5. As for South, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.
Wiseburn- Da Vinci couldn't quite get it done against South in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 as they fell 11-7. Will the Wolves have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
