After a string of nine wins, Sinton's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 58-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Diego Vaqueros. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-29 back in November.

Sinton's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for San Diego, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.

Sinton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-11 win against Odem on the 28th. As for San Diego, they will square off against Santa Gertrudis Academy at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
