Baseball Recap: Larue County Picks Up 13th Consecutive Victory

Larue County waltzed into their matchup on Friday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They blew past the Bethlehem Eagles 16-1. Considering the Hawks have won 16 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ayden Seidl looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ryan Hughes was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Cole Miller, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Larue County's record is now 27-6. As for Bethlehem, they moved to 21-14 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Coming up, Larue County will be playing in front of their home fans against Caverna at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Bethlehem does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
