The Beyer Patriots will be playing at home against the Pacheco Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Beyer and five for Pacheco.
On Tuesday, Beyer came up short against Johansen and fell 63-54. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Beyer in their matchups with Johansen: they've now lost five in a row.
Meanwhile, Pacheco also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Los Banos by a score of 51-39.
Beyer's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Pacheco, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.
Beyer lost to Pacheco at home by a decisive 72-58 margin in their previous matchup back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Pacheco's Sasha Siemiller, who scored 33 points along with five steals. Now that Beyer knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
