North Oconee took a five-goal loss the last time they faced off against Cedar Shoals, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The North Oconee Titans skirted past the Cedar Shoals Jaguars 2-1. For the Titans, this counts as revenge for the 5-0 win the Jaguars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

North Oconee's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-3. As for Cedar Shoals, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Oconee will challenge Mill Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mill Creek's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Cedar Shoals, they will face off against Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m. on March 18th.
