Sunnyside's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Madera South Stallions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-0 two weeks ago.

Jordan Jaime and Eyzec Parada did most of the damage at the plate: Jaime scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Parada scored two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Jaime a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Jabriel Sanchez, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Sunnyside's record is now 4-8. As for Madera South, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Sunnyside will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Stallions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
