Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valley Christian Academy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Laguna Blanca Owls 66-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Lions have posted since January 23rd.

Elle Mason continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8 of 13 en route to 17 points and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Norah Mason, who went 6 of 8 on her way to 12 points and five steals.

Valley Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Laguna Blanca, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Valley Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-13 victory against San Luis Obispo Classical Academy on the 6th. As for Laguna Blanca, they will face off against Coastal Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
