In what's become a running theme this season, the Silverado Hawks gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They really took it to Granite Hills for the full four quarters, racking up a 81-25 victory at home. With Silverado ahead 53-13 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Elizabeth Udeze continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 33 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Silverado's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Belinda Rincon, who scored 14 points.
Despite the loss, Granite Hills saw an underclassman step up: Bryanna Lynem scored 17 points. Chloe Rollins was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Silverado's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.1 points per game. As for Granite Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
Silverado will head out on the road to challenge Adelanto at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Adelanto focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Thursday. As for Granite Hills, they will be playing at home against Victor Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
