The Strath Haven Panthers lost against the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights back in January of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Strath Haven received a tough blow as they fell 56-42 to Bayard Rustin.
Riley Stackhouse continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bayard Rustin, scoring 16 points along with seven steals and five assists. Those five assists set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Kailey Barry, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Strath Haven's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bayard Rustin, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Strath Haven will face off against Conestoga at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bayard Rustin will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Great Valley at 6:45 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
