The San Jacinto Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season. They breezed by Tahquitz at home to the tune of 58-16. The win made it back-to-back wins for San Jacinto.
Luv'lee Sadler was her usual excellent self, scoring 26 points. The matchup was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mary Oziengbe, who scored 12 points.
San Jacinto has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Tahquitz, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Jacinto will challenge West Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. West Valley is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Tahquitz will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Citrus Hill at 5:30 p.m. on January 9th. Citrus Hill is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
