Bishop LeBlond had a senior duo take command as David Aberer rushed for 63 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries and Chase Kissel rushed for 72 yards and one TD on only five carries. Hawkins Ideker was in the mix too, providing the Eagles with two scores.

Bishop LeBlond didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Cole Sigrist led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Ideker got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Bishop LeBlond's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Kansas City East Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Bishop LeBlond will venture away from home to face off against Northland Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Kansas City East Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sunrise Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Buffaloes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
