Jimmy Downs was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and a triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Damaurion Butler, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and a stolen base.
On Northside's side, Rowan Yen and Rowan Dragovic stepped up to the plate in a big way. Yen scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all two of his plate appearances, while Dragovic scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Tyler Weigand was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.
Kenwood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for Northside, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-16.
