Cromwell/Portland came out on top against Weaver on Friday thanks in part to Tyler Cipolla's efforts. Cipolla was excellent, rushing for 163 yards and one score while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (105.4) per game.

Cipolla and Cromwell/Portland will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Valley Regional/Old Lyme at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
