Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Salem). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the New Washington Mustangs 76-46. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Salem's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for New Washington, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Salem will be home for the holidays to greet West Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Salem has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for New Washington, they will venture away from home to square off against Rising Sun at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. New Washington is facing Rising Sun at the right time seeing as Rising Sun is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
