While Central Catholic put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Spanish Springs. The Raiders walked away with a 4-0 win over the Cougars. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Levi Zalinski and Chase Perino did most of the damage at the plate: Zalinski went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI, while Perino went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Central Catholic's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Spanish Springs, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Catholic will host East Union at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give the Raiders their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Spanish Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McQueen at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
