Hart has gone 8-2 against Saugus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Hart is taking a road trip to square off against Saugus at 3:30 p.m. Hart knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Saugus likes a good challenge.
Hart is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 22-0 margin over Golden Valley on Friday. With that victory, the Hawks brought their scoring average up to 7 runs per game.
Tristan Purfoy looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Michael Hogen was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Joshua Whitson was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Hart kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Saugus can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Sylmar 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Centurions have posted since March 1st.
Ming Lee looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.
At the plate, Saugus saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Barrett, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Hart is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. Saugus' record now sits at 10-6.
Hart couldn't quite get it done against Saugus in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 as they fell 5-1. Can Hart avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
